ABOUT US

We are a family-owned and operated lavender farm located in Bodega Bay

OUR STORY

We wanted to grow something that was beautiful, useful, and sustainable

Since lavender is such a versatile plant with a range of potential health benefits, we couldn’t help but be intrigued. Lavender was already thriving in the garden year after year, so why not plant it in mass?

February 2022

Our Lavender Journey Began!

With help from family and friends, we planted 5,100 lavender plants on 2.5 acres. The lavender grew so quickly that we had our first harvest in September that same year.

September 2024

We Harvested 10,000+ Lavender Bushels

We steam distilled the majority of our lavender to create essential oil and lavender hydrosol. Our hand-made, organic products made customers calm and happy.

Today

Growing and Thriving

Our lavender is beginning to mature as we continue to learn and grow ourselves. Our customers have helped us immensely by sharing new ideas and giving us feedback on how they use and enjoy our products.

Meet Our Family

Bodega Bay Lavender is owned and operated by the Breen-Wellbeloved Family. While Jami and Robert run the day-to-day operations, their oldest son, Danny manages the field, oversees the harvest and manages the distillation process. All the boys play an important role in the success of the farm from field work to sales to pitching new ideas to help Bodega Bay Lavender thrive.
